The Hive Southeast Asia is an early-stage venture fund and startup studio based in Kuala Lumpur. Launched in 2021, it’s a partnership between The Hive (Silicon Valley), Tuas Capital Partners, and Sunway Group. The fund invests in startups using AI, data, blockchain, and deep tech, offering both funding (from RM500K to RM5M) and hands-on support in building products, reducing tech risk, and scaling to market. Backed by Malaysia’s Dana Penjana Nasional initiative, it also runs Hive Think Tank—bringing together innovators and industry leaders to grow the region’s tech ecosystem.
